The Blackjack Academy

We're proud of our people and believe that training and education is paramount to enhancing branded experiences as well as recruiting and retaining the best staff in the sector.

With that in mind we created the Blackjack Academy to offer training opportunities for our staff to develop skills and knowledge - whilst also gaining recognised qualifications.

We offer three courses leading to apprenticeships or government-recognised NVQ Level 2 qualifications:

Customer Service:


Customer service is a key skill in our business and this course teaches staff an understanding of how to deliver an excellent and reliable service. Students learn how to adapt and tailor their customer service skills to the appropriate audience and how to handle face-to-face situations with confidence and resolve problems.

Team Leading:


This course develops the key skills required to manage resources and provide leadership for a team. It also focuses on building strong working relationships and how to offer direction. Students undertaking this course also gain free studying membership to the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) for one year, worth around £200-£300.

Sales:


The aim of this course is to build sales skills for product demonstrations at exhibitions and fairs, closing sales and understanding sales information. Face to face sales is also a key part of this course along with understanding the legal, regulatory and ethical requirements.
