Acer Pavilion

At London 2012’s Olympic Park, nestled between the Olympic Village and Basketball Arena, you might have spotted the winking eye of the Acer Pavilion. Here, you would have found our dedicated team of staff that had been trained to host the interactive Acer experience throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Interactive sports games occupied the first two floors of the custom built structure which our staff assisted in running and demonstrating. They introduced visitors to their Acer avatars who accompanied them virtually around the various computerised game. Visitors also had the opportunity to collect points from each event they took part in, with  points accumulated converted to prizes when visiting the Acer website.

All the computer equipment showcased the capabilities of the Acer brand, including the computerised globe (an eye catching central feature which was on the 2nd floor) and the interactive 3D screens positioned on the lower floor. Our staff also hosted the Acer VIP lounge on the top floor, welcoming Acer VIP guests, athletes and accredited press where they enjoyed refreshments, access to Acer technology and a fantastic view of the Olympic Park and Stadium.
